In 2005 Honda decided that all its models will be equipped with 4-stroke engines and this also affects the Montesa Cota. First production trials model featuring electronic fuel injection.

The museum exhibition celebrated 50 years of the Montesa Cota observed trials competition motorcycle.

Included in the display were famed competition winners, trials machines for children and teenagers, and several of the latest high-tech four-strokes.
