Pick Motor Co

The Pick motorcycle was produced in 1905, possibly in Stamford, Lincolnshire and may have been built by the cyclecar firm of the same name. It had a 6½ hp V-twin engine and was typical of the Edwardian era, with sprung braced forks and direct-belt drive. It may have been a one-off special, a prototype, or possibly made for a member of staff.

Pick engines were air-cooled and watercooled singles, and watercooled HO twins. The New Pick car of 1922 had a 4 cyl 22hp engine.

The firm also traded as New Pick Motor Co.

A 1912 Pick motorcycle is part of the National Motorcycle Museum collection, UK.
